Dr. Satish Chander Agarwal is a distinguished expert in fisheries management, with an academic foundation com- prising an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Fisheries Management, along with an MPA & DEM from Punjab University, Chandigarh. His extensive career spans over 36 years. Dr. Agarwal has served in various capacities, including Director of Fisheries and Advisor of Fisheries, across governmental bodies in Haryana, Punjab, the Government of India, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. His commitment to the field is further exemplified by his authorship of various research papers & ten books. In recognition of his significant contributions to fisheries literature, Dr. Agarwal was honored with the Sahitya Akademi Award by the Haryana government in 2017.
