About The Book

The title of this poetry collection, Meri Drishti, reflects my personal lens—how I have seen and experienced life while living in a dynamic, ever-evolving society. These poems are not mere flights of innocent imagination; rather, they are a mirror of home, family, and the social world around us.
This book is a collection of lived experiences, carefully captured and expressed through poetry. Instead of describing it in detail here, I leave it to you, the readers, to discover for yourselves how truthful and relatable my perspective feels.

About The Author

I, Ajay Kumar RadheKrishna Singh, was born into a humble, middle-class family. My mother, Surasatti Devi, gave birth to me while battling tuberculosis—a courageous fight that sadly ended when I was just four years old. Despite this early loss, I was raised in a nurturing joint family in which warmth and culture thrived. As the eldest son, I was surrounded by care and respect, never feeling the absence of my mother too deeply. My early education began in the village of Tendui, Varanasi, where I studied until the sixth standard. Later, I moved to Mumbai, where my father, a dedicated schoolteacher, enrolled me in the esteemed B.L. Ruia Multipurpose High School. From there, my path in education unfolded. I pursued a B.P.Ed. and began teaching at Seth N.L. High School in Malad, eventually returning to B.L. Ruia as a primary school teacher. Determined to grow academically, I completed my intermediate at Knight College, B.A. from Kirti College, and B.Ed. from Sadhana College. I rose to become Head Teacher at B.L. Ruia High School and retired in 2007, grateful for the support of my colleagues. My wife, Tara Singh, has been my constant support, managing our home with grace. I do not claim to be a scholar, but rather a simple man expressing life’s truths through poetry, inspired by family, society, and personal experiences. Through my verses, I hope readers discover new ways of seeing and feeling the world. With heartfelt love and blessings to all.
