There are no hidden charges beyond your chosen package — inventory management, platform listing, and sales tracking are all included at no extra cost. You can also pay the package fee in two or three instalments.

The complete publishing process — including editing, cover design, formatting, printing setup, and going live online — takes approximately 30–45 days. A dedicated project manager is assigned to you from day one and guides you through every step via calls and email.

You decide your own MRP. We provide a minimum recommended MRP based on printing cost (Printing Cost × 2.25) to ensure your book is commercially viable. You can set any price above this minimum — the higher the MRP, the higher your royalty per copy sold.

You retain 100% of all rights. Astitva Prakashan does not claim any ownership, copyright, or intellectual property rights over your work. We can also assist with official Government Copyright Registration if needed.

Yes. You can choose a specific release date and we will publish your book on that exact day — perfect for planned launches, special occasions, or personal milestones.

Yes. The package cost can be paid in two or three instalments. Please speak with our publishing team at the time of registration to arrange a payment schedule that works for you.

Print-on-Demand means your book is printed only when a customer places an order — there is no need to pre-print or store stock. This eliminates upfront printing risk entirely. Every order placed on Amazon, Flipkart, or any other platform automatically triggers a fresh print and dispatch. It is the most efficient and cost-effective publishing model for independent authors today.

No. Because we use the Print-on-Demand system, there is no physical inventory to manage. Astitva Prakashan handles unlimited and lifetime inventory management at absolutely no cost to the author — you never pay a storage fee, handling fee, or renewal charge, ever.

Yes. You can order author copies at printing cost + actual shipping charges, directly through your Author Dashboard — no middlemen, no markups. There is no minimum order quantity. Since we work on a POD system, your copies are freshly printed and dispatched as soon as you place an order.

The Author Dashboard is your personal publishing control panel, provided as part of your publishing package. Once your book is live, you get full access to track real-time sales, view monthly royalty reports, order author copies, and manage your book details. You also have the option to request direct KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) dashboard access for complete transparency on Kindle sales.

Sales reports are updated and made available through your Author Dashboard every month. Royalty payments are released monthly, directly to your registered bank account — no delays, no deductions beyond what is transparently shown in your dashboard.

For eBook sales on platforms like Kindle, Google Books, Kobo, and Apple iBooks, your royalty is 100% of whatever amount the channel pays to us. Each platform has its own payment structure, but Astitva Prakashan does not deduct anything from the eBook royalty — the full amount received from the channel is passed on to you.

Yes. Astitva Prakashan accepts manuscripts in multiple Indian languages including Hindi, English, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, and more. If you are unsure whether your language is supported, please contact our team at [email protected] before submitting.

Initially your book is published online across all major paperback and eBook platforms. If online sales cross 1,000 copies, we can explore proposals for offline retail distribution. Offline availability depends on the book's performance and retail interest.

Your royalty depends on where the book is sold:

Astitva Prakashan’s Store: MRP − 5% of MRP - Printing Cost(5% is a small platform transaction fee).
Amazon, Flipkart & Other Stores: MRP − 45% Distribution Commission − Printing Cost.

Astitva Prakashan does not take any percentage from your royalty. The deductions shown are entirely platform and printing costs.

The distribution commission is 45% of your MRP and is charged by third-party selling platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. This covers their platform listing fees, payment gateway charges, customer service, and order fulfilment costs — it is entirely the platform's fee, not a publisher charge. Astitva Prakashan does not retain any portion of this amount.
