Description
About The Book
A beautiful and deeply reflective journey, gently questioning many of the
assumptions we grew up believing to be true. These poems constantly invite the
reader to pause, turn inward, and reflect. Through them, one senses the author’s
own exploration – his reflections, expressions, and the quiet struggle to bring these
insights into every living moment. What makes this journey particularly rare is that
these reflections did not arise in isolation. They evolved alongside years of working
closely with people in distress, offering the author a depth of understanding that
few are privileged to witness. For that reason alone, this collection becomes more
than poetry – it is a treasure to cherish.
About The Author
KGM, as he is popularly known, is a person of many
layers. He spent two decades in the corporate world
before becoming an entrepreneur and successfully
building a large enterprise. In time, he moved away
from it all, choosing instead to work with fellow
human beings in need. His structured social journey
began with long years of service with a leprosy home
and with 300 children living with HIV – a
commitment that lasted over two and a half decades.
Kgm also got involved working with supporting semi-
orphaned children affected by COVID and their
displaced mothers. His association with a Cancer
Hospital in Assam, serving the marginalized,
continues through his role in supporting fundraising
efforts, social media and being part of a leadership
program. Ubuntu, his first book, published during the
pandemic was a big support in his journey,
emotionally and financially for the causes he works
with. He loves reflecting, and sharing his reflections
and writes. He lives each day fully and in the moment.
Shanthi, his wife, is a vice principal in a school & they
live in Bangalore. Their daughter, Architha, an HR
professional, lives in the United States with her
husband, Sarnath, and their two daughters, Tara and
Diya.
