Description

About The Book

Ecofeminism: Traits and Challenges—From Surreal to the Real explores the intricate relationship between the oppression of women and the exploitation of nature. Moving from the surreal dimensions of imagination, ideology, and cultural representation to the realities of environmental degradation, gender inequality, and social injustice, the book offers a critical examination of ecofeminist thought and practice. By bringing together ecological concerns, feminist perspectives, and contemporary social challenges, this volume highlights the ways in which systems of domination shape both human and more-than-human worlds. It examines key traits of ecofeminism while also engaging with its tensions, limitations, and evolving possibilities.
