Provision of various services by the banks is common now a day. Navi Mumbai is a fastest emerging commercial city of India. It is bubbling with commercial activities. In order to accommodate the ever increasing business activities in a planned manner, the government has developed the suburban city, Navi Mumbai. Due to various modern infrastructure facilities and job opportunities in Navi Mumbai, people from Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra have started migrating to this area. The study attempted to make a comparison between customer services offered by the nationalized banks, private sector banks and co-operative banks and tries to understand the customer’s satisfaction.
The research endeavoured to understand the various customer services provided by the sample banks in Navi Mumbai. The study quantified and evaluated the customer response towards banking services on the counts of awareness, utilisations and satisfaction. On the basis of samples, the researcher analysed the possible reasons for the lacklustre performances of certain sector banks on given criterion. Therefore, the Study would help policy makers, bankers and corporate world, businessmen and researcher for future reference.
About The Author
Capt. Dr. Sunil Bapu Kadam is a Commissioned Officer of NCC as well as l/c Principal and Associate Professor & Head of Department of Accountancy at CTES’s N. G. Acharya & D. K. Marathe College, Chembur, Mumbai, Post Graduate recognized Teacher of University of Mumbai in the subject of Accountancy & special mention about him that, he is recognized Ph. D. Research Guide of University of Mumbai in the Subject of Commerce & Management – Accountancy at Acharya & Marathe College Research Centre where in FOUR students are pursuing Ph. D. under his guidance. He is a Member, Board of Study in Accountancy of University of Mumbai and Jai Hind College, Joshi Bedekar College, VES College and Sathey College which has autonomous status.
He has 29 years teaching experience, Three years’ experience as NSS Programme Officer & 14 years’ experience as Commissioned Associate NCC Officer of 5 MAH EME Coy NCC, VJTI. He has completed M. Com, GDCA, M. Phil, Ph. D, and NET. He worked as a Course Study Material writer for IDEOL University of Mumbai for TY B Com. Costing Paper. He has Co-authored Four Text Books for Seth Publisher; two for SYB Com in the subject of Accountancy for Sem.- III & IV & two for SY BA in the subject of Book Keeping & Accountancy for Sem.-III and IV.
He was one of the Resource Persons for various national seminar organized by various colleges. He has also completed Two Minor Research Project funded by University of Mumbai. He has presented 26 papers in national and international level seminars & conferences and published 28 research article in international peer reviewed, UGC care journals. He is a recipient of TWO ‘Outstanding Research Paper Award’ in International Conference organised by University of Mumbai as well as SEVA SANSKAR PURASKAR 2019-21 from Janvis Multi Foundation Mumbai for his social work during COVID Pandemic.
