When the first edition of “Ankahe Ehsaas” came in front of the readers, it was not just a collection of words but a document of those emotions which remain buried in the depths of everyday life. That first part was filled with the moisture of relationships, the pain of separation, the first color of love and the heartbeats of silence. Every poem touched some corner of the readers’ hearts… many people found their incomplete story in it, many saw their silence giving voice for the first time.
Volume 2 – An expansion… a depth
“”Ankahe Ehsaas – Volume 2″” is the next step in the same emotional journey. This volume does not just collect those moments, but preserves them, embellishes them and slowly descends inside the reader.
In this volume:
There are some poems – which have come out from the depths of the heart. Words are sometimes born from silence. That silence, which sits in some corner of the mind and seeps slowly – says something without making a sound, writes a lot without writing.
There are some stories – which are written on the wet palms of life.
And there are many “feelings” – which were never spoken, but always remained with us.
This is an emotional document in which not words but feelings speak. This collection gathers those unspoken moments, silences and soft shadows of broken and made relationships which often remain in the heart, but do not reach the tongue.

About The Author

Nigam Mishra was born on 1 December 1984 in the historic city of Bhagalpur in Bihar. The early days of his life were spent in this peaceful and cultural land situated on the banks of the Ganga, where the seeds of words and emotions were sown in him long ago.

He lives in a joint family and is a loving father of two daughters. Nigam Mishra is married to Jyoti Kumari who is an expert in making Madhubani paintings.

Nigam Mishra is a corporate professional who is running the race of life in another city, away from his city, his home and loved ones, in search of his dreams. In the midst of this fast-paced life, when everything stops – then his pen starts working. That pen which expresses those unspoken emotions, which are often suppressed in the heart. When he gets a little silence at night after coming out of the world of busy meetings and emails of the day, then he picks up the pen – and those emotions, which often remain in the heart, are molded into words.

In the journey of “”Ankahe Ehsaas – Khand 1″” we tried to give words to those emotions which often suffocate within – incomplete love stories, the silence of broken relationships, the unheard pain of a father, the world from a daughter’s perspective, and the pang of waiting which even time could not fill. His journey in the world of emotions had started long ago. His specialty is to put the unspoken aspects of life into words, give voice to the silence of the heart and give shape to emotions through poetry.
