About the Book

“Ankahi” is a book I have written, comprised of various tales, stories, and poems. These stories are those that linger in our minds and thoughts, yet we are never quite able to tell or explain them. Life sometimes brings incidents that leave us with unsolved questions, and “Ankahi” includes many such stories, drawing you into deep curiosity. Some stories make you feel they occur somewhere, but we are unable to articulate them. Some stories teach us new things and explain a lot. The poems in “Ankahi” sometimes make you laugh, sometimes make you emotional, and some take you back to old memories. Others hold a mirror up to society. “Ankahi” is made up of all these elements. Rohit Wadhera: I have been fond of writing poems, stories, and Shayari since childhood. I used to recite my poems and Shayari in school programs. However, with increasing age and responsibilities, this hobby was left behind. Then, my mother’s untimely death during the Covid period put me into deep depression. My life partner inspired me to write again. Slowly, I started to engrave my thoughts on paper. My first book, “U Turn by Karma,” is based on the deeds of man. “Ankahi” is my second book, which is very close to my heart. It contains many stories and poems that I believe you will enjoy. I hope you will like “Ankahi” as much as my first creation, and that it will also receive your love.
