Description
About The Book
Searching for meaning in life, I’ve somehow ended up in a place with no shore and no support. Why do hopes still linger, and why do desires repeatedly stir my soul? So much remains unfulfilled, yet life is nearing its end. These very hopes are the root cause of my suffering, but it’s also true that these same hopes inspire me to live. Today, we are drifting further from the shore, sometimes even caught in the whirlpools of the open sea. It’s not that there’s no one around, or that I have no loved ones, yet there are distances that cannot be bridged. Sometimes it’s a distance of the heart, sometimes a distance of support. One moment the heart leaps with the desire to live, the next moment it is overwhelmed by despair. Where do you want to go? With age comes confusion about direction. Yet, we must move forward, even if the shore is not in sight. “Life’s journey, what kind of journey is this? No one understands, no one knows.”
