Description

About the Book

Instrumental Methods of Chemical Analysis is a comprehensive and up-to-date reference that presents the fundamental principles, instrumentation, and applications of modern analytical techniques used in chemical, pharmaceutical, materials, and environmental sciences. Designed to build a strong conceptual foundation, the book systematically introduces both classical and advanced instrumental methods that are essential for qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Beginning with an overview of analytical chemistry and instrumental approaches, the book covers a wide range of spectroscopic techniques including UV-Visible, IR, NMR, Mass, Raman, Fluorescence, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance, Mössbauer, and Photoelectron spectroscopies. Separation and electroanalytical methods such as chromatography and polarography are discussed in detail, along with atomic and elemental analysis techniques including atomic absorption spectroscopy, flame photometry, and inductively coupled plasma spectrometry.

Thermal and materials characterization methods such as TGA-DTA, differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence, and electron microscopy (SEM and TEM) are presented with clarity, highlighting their practical significance in research and industry. The book also addresses modern surface and materials analysis topics including surface area, porosity, particle size analysis, and total organic analysis.
Written in a clear and student-friendly manner, this book emphasizes theory,
