About The Author

Dr. Vishal Verma is a distinguished Scholar-Practitioner and Global HR Leader with almost two decade of experience bridging the gap between empirical science and organizational excellence. An IIM-C and XLRI alumnus , he holds a Ph.D. in Botany and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Management. He currently serves as the Head of Human Resources at Alumnus Software Ltd., where he is recognized for spearheading digital transformation and pioneering AI-driven recruitment workflows to optimize talent pipelines. Simultaneously, as a Professor of Practice at KIIT School of Management (KSOM), he leverages his industrial expertise to mentor management students. He has authored multiple books on HR, Organizational Psychology, Personality, Workplace Spirituality, Plant Myths and Tradition in India.

Manish Verma is a results-oriented professional with over 17 years of experience bridging academia and industry. Currently serving as Principal Consultant of Industry Engagement at KIIT University, he has established over 500 corporate partnerships and multiple Centers of Excellence. A prolific scholar, he has authored two books, including “”Microcontroller & Embedded System,”” and published extensively in IEEE Xplore, Scopus & SCI indexed journals on VLSI technology and others. Manish holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from BIT Mesra and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in VLSI. He’s also a certified Google Project Management professional, and has done 20+ certification into different technologies related to AI/ GenAI, Nanotechnology etc. His expertise spans strategic partnerships, project management, and career management.
