About The Book

The book “Mechanics and Properties of Matter” for the students is written in accordance with the syllabus prescribed. The subject matter in this book has been written clearly, precisely and simple language, so that students can be able to follow it easily.

The main aim of publishing this book is to spread the knowledge attained by the undersigned amongst the interested persons. There are manifold purposes of writing this book on the subject. book is an attempt to supply this need, and to make it as comprehensive as possible chapters have been included which may form part of a graduate course rather than an undergraduate course.

About The Author

Dr. Shivaleela B, Department of Physics, Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi. She did her M. Sc. from Gulbarga University in 2015. She had awarded four Gold medals for securing 1st rank in M. Sc. Physics. She had qualified Karnataka State Elegibility Test (KSET) in 2016. She has completed her Ph. D. in Aug 2022 under the guidance of Prof. S. M. Hanagodimath, Department of Physics, Gulbarga University. She has more than two years of teaching experience for PG students. She has also teaching experience for UG students as per NEP 2020 Syllabus. She has Published he first book on Electricity and Magnetism. She has published 24 research articles including Scopus indexed, UGC care list Journal and conference proceedings. She has awarded 1st prize for several poster and oral presentations in national and international conferences. Her area of research are fluorescence spectroscopy, computational chemistry and radiation physics.
