About The Book
It is the year 1510 BCE. Nabi, a Bedouin, is compelled to confront the forces of nature in the unforgiving desert of Kemet (modern day Egypt). His miraculous condition inspires fear, making it a constant source of superstitions and persecutions. He does not experience the pangs of humanness like others do. Will he ever be at peace with his true nature? Upon entering the civilization, he navigates through various hurdles but he is not without some help. Forces are at work against him. How will he face them? Will he even survive them? This is a story of the extraordinary journey of an incredible man.
About The Author
Prashant Shrestha is a poet, writer, journalist, editor, artist, teacher, school administrator, photographer & critic. This is his second book. The first one was a poetry book, Bouts of Poetry. From a very young age, he used to be lost in his imagination. His poem, Saathisanga, was published in a local weekly children’s literary newspaper, Kopila, at the age of 9. Looking back, he recalls wanting to leave his formal education to become a writer in Class 9. So, he knew it was his calling. He has always been obsessed with the Ancient Egyptian civilization. His mind wandered off to that realm and this is the product.
