Description
About the Book
Indian Political Ideas: Tradition and Transformation offers a comprehensive exploration of the evolution of political thought in India, tracing its rich intellectual heritage from ancient philosophical traditions to contemporary democratic discourse. Bridging classical concepts with modern political realities, the book examines how ideas of state, power, justice, rights, citizenship, nationalism, secularism, and social justice have been interpreted, contested, and transformed across different historical periods. Combining conceptual clarity with critical analysis, the authors present diverse schools of Indian political thought while engaging with contemporary debates and constitutional values.
