This book tries to delve deep into these questions without getting into crazy conspiracy theories and victim mindset.‘Husna’ is the depiction of the Muslims in 19th century, post-Mughal India.It is an attempt to portray the frustration of losing political power and glory, the entrenchment of radical and regressive ideas and the domination of reactionary mullahs that unfortunately shapes the community’s outlook and condition even today.

About the Author

I was born to a Muslim father and a Catholic mother, I also have distant Hindu relatives. This, along with the perks of living in a Gulf Arab country, exposed me to people of various ethnic, national and religious backgrounds. I’m also a History and Social Science enthusiast. All of these factors made me more aware of the world around me, especially of the realities of why some societies managed to progress and prosper and why others regressed and suffer.
