Why the book
More than two-thirds of Earth’s surface is covered by oceans. Our planet is the only one in the solar system with water and life on it. Healthy oceans and seas are essential to our existence. It’s time to ensure that we do more for Life Below Water. Sustainable Development Goal 14 of the United Nations Development Program aims to protect and ensure the sustainable use of oceans.
This book will educate children and create awareness about reduction of marine pollution and the impacts of ocean acidification, the ending of overfishing and the conservation of marine and coastal areas and ecosystems.
