About the Book
This intimate collection of poems weaves a narrative of heartache, resilience, and self-discovery. It’s the story of a man shattered by love, falsely accused, and left to grapple with the haunting question: “Am I a rapist?” Through raw, emotive verse, the author exposes the dark underbelly of societal judgment, where love can be twisted into guilt and devastation. Yet, amidst the ruins, a glimmer of defiance persists. With unflinching honesty, this poetic journey confronts the complexities of love, consent, and the fragility of the human spirit. The author’s courageous voice poses a poignant challenge: to reevaluate assumptions, to question the labels we assign, and to seek truth beyond the noise. As the author asks: “Am I a rapist? Or am I not?” Will you dare to confront the answer?
About the Author
I am Shubham Chhagan Ajbale, a young wordsmith born on June 12, 2003, into a humble middle-class family. Raised with tender care by my mother, I developed a reserved nature, often finding solace in the world of words. Writing has been my passion since childhood, and I began crafting my debut book in 2023. However, life had other plans, and personal challenges temporarily halted my publishing dreams. Ironically, it was a poignant breakup that reignited my creative spark. Having given my heart fully, only to be left alone, I channeled my emotions into my writing.
