Prof. Dr. Zuber Mujeeb Shaikh is a globally recognized leader in healthcare quality, patient safety, risk management, and compliance, with over 24 years of expertise in the international tertiary healthcare sector. Holding a Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.), Ph.D., and FISQua (Ireland), he has played a pivotal role in shaping global healthcare standards, accreditation frameworks, and quality improvement methodologies.
As Director of Corporate Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Risk Management at Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Services Group (HMG), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he has led over 380 healthcare accreditations and re-accreditations across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, and India, including JCI, CBAHI, HIMSS EMRAM, NHRA, NABH, CHI, AABB, CAP, and ISO certifications. He has successfully commissioned 14 tertiary care hospitals and 9 medical centers, ensuring compliance with international healthcare standards.
Dr. Shaikh pioneered the ETQAN Software Program, an AI-driven quality analytics platform, and spearheaded the integration of electronic health records (Vida), achieving HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7 Accreditation for all HMG hospitals.
