About The Author

With more than a dozen books of English poetry besides an English translation of Zahid’s Urdu poems, Dr Lalit Mohan Sharma, born 1952, taught language and literature at government colleges in Himachal Pradesh and retired as Principal in 2010. His 2025 publications include ‘Hints and Guesses’, ‘Voids of Silence’ and ‘Another Gandhi’, a monograph on Pandit Durga Dass, a freedom fighter.

Settled in Dharmshala, his association with State War Memorial and Harmony Day Care Centre for Special Children is close to his heart.

A former member of NAAC’s Peer Teams, Dr Sharma’s writings are also included in ‘A Handbook of Contemporary Ethics, (2024) and ‘Cessation of History’ in Literary Thought in Post-Truth Era, (2025), edited by Dr JS Anand.
