About the Book
Being an adult is a constant loop of entering a room, forgetting what you came for, going back, recalling it, and entering again. But in the brief fleeting moments of when you are actually living in the present, the calmness & serenity of it all is almost unbearably profound.
The poetries in this book carry a simple goal: For people to feel heard, seen, and portrayed, in their truest of selves, devoid of pretences and false understanding nods. With a reflection of themselves in things surrounding them in their day-to-day lives.
There is nothing as comforting as the feeling of– not being alone, of companionship, of relatability. Hence, this is an ode to all the overthinkers, and non-thinkers who longed and overlooked, to be seen.
Find yourself reflected in everyday objects, unnoticed patterns, and the corners of your mind you rarely visit. With a mix of deep thoughts and the occasional retrospection, this is your friendly, slightly unhinged guide to feeling seen, heard, and maybe—just maybe—understood.
