Description

About The Book

Oxygen is a drug and, like any other drug, has indications, doses, and side effects. Its use in younger children, in life-threatening situations, and therapy during transport requires a more cautious approach.

The knowledge of the respiratory adjuncts, titration of flow, and their practical application is equally important. The concepts of normal physiology and supporting the deranged physiology with Oxygen, even before making a diagnosis, should be made during the formative years of becoming a doctor, or when they are fresh and eager to learn. Hope this book will help to meet these objectives.
