About The Book

Five feet five in height, a very ordinary Bengali, Upenda works in an insurance company. By chance, he meets a freelance journalist named Mayukh, while he is in the same mess. Mayukh’s nickname is Peru. Like his strange name, he is also involved in some mysterious work, Upenda learns. One day, at Peru’s urging, they rent an old flat in New Alipore. Upenda learns that Peru is associated with a private investigation firm. Along with his friend, he accidentally gets involved in several investigations one after the other.

About The Author

Born in Palassy, West Bengal in 1979. After competing B.E (Elec) from Jalpaiguri Govt Engg College, worked in Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad in REDC cell and thereafter is employed in WBSEDCL as an Electrical engineer.

Started literary journey with two poetry books, thereafter turned to writing detective novels and thrillers. Several poetry pieces/stories of the author have been published in various mazagines/e-magazines and audio stories across various platforms. These include the popular and widely acclaimed detective sleuths, Peru and Upenda.
