It is remarkable to think that some of the greatest scientists likes of Darwin, Shantiswarup Bhatnagar, Galileo and Linus Carl Pauling were all born in February and have ever lived. Scientists are collecting outcomes of observations and experimentations for raising the hypotheses and test them, to gain and share concepts of nature and life. It is essential to popularize the science through the biographies of scientists, in Marathi, the classical (Abhijat) language. Scientists have been venturing into different domains of sciences that pave the way for safe human life. Book entitled, “Februvari Mahinyatil Vidnyanyatri” (Biographies of February-born-scientists) is commemorating their contributions through discoveries and inventions. In this book, author explains how minds of scientists worked and the mysteries of the universe that they discovered. February born scientists blessed human life through remarkable scientific findings and constructed new path to be followed. Inventions, innovations, and discoveries of February scientists, the respective domains of science have got a new direction to follow. Efficient attempts of Indian National Council of Science and Technology Communication and the support of Indian government are serving a lot to orchestrate the celebration of Indian National Science Day on 28 February each year to mark discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Nobel laureate Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman on 28 February, 1928. February born scientists are (were) enthusiastic and linked through his wider area of science, bound to have fortified inventions and discoveries. Present book is going to inspire readers and popularize the science around the world.
