About The Author

1) Dr. Shashikant Sitaram Shende holds an M.A. in English, a UGC-NET qualification in English, and a PhD. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Yadaorao Poshattiwar Arts College, Talodhi (Maharashtra). He obtained his PhD in English from RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. He has over 12 years of experience in teaching and research, with a publication record that includes numerous research papers in reputable journals, including those indexed by Scopus and listed in the UGC Care. He has also written many book chapters in edited volumes. Currently, he is working on book writing and patent design. He is invited as a resource person for many programs and workshops. In college, he has served on various committees.

2) Dr. Sanjay Kisan Chavhan is an assistant professor of Sociology at Yadaorao Poshattiwar Arts College, Talodhi (Balapur). He holds an M.Phil. in Sociology, along with NET, SET, and a Ph.D. in Sociology. He teaches Research Methodology for B.A. and M.A. courses, focusing on research methods. With 15 years of undergraduate teaching and 6 years at the postgraduate level, his areas of interest include Tribal Happiness, Tribal & Rural Development, Marginalized Groups, Communication and Development, and Cooperative Management. His extensive research experience includes working as a Research Investigator on Opinion Polls I, II, III, and Exit Polls for the “Maharashtra Assembly Election 2004,” sponsored by Alpha Marathi, Mumbai. He also completed research for his M.Phil. on “Role and Impact of Self-help Groups for Rural Development,” and his Ph.D. on “The Concept of Happy Life: A Sociological Survey of the Madiya Tribe in Gadchiroli District.” He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Board of Studies at Gondwana University, Gadchiroli; the Indian Sociological Society; Marathi Samajshastra Parishad; Vidarbha Samajshastra Parishad; Youth Hostel Association; and serves as an academic counselor for IGNOU, RC Nagpur (AFUPC7337)
