Sidewalk Parables is a mosaic of short narratives drawn from the many sidewalks I have walked in life—be it as a son, a father, a husband, a professional, or simply a curious observer of the world around me. These stories are intimate yet universal. They draw from my own journey—growing up with parents and grandparents who left indelible impressions on me, sharing lighthearted adventures and poignant moments with my son and close friends, and navigating the quirks, challenges, and lessons of professional life.
Each narrative is deliberately brief, crafted to fit within the reader’s natural attention span, making it easy to pause, reflect, and move on—yet leaving behind an aftertaste that lingers long after the page is turned.
The greatest joy for me in putting together this book is the resonance it creates. These are not just my stories. In many ways, they could be yours too. The small victories, the quiet frustrations, the tender memories, the lessons tucked inside everyday events—all of us have lived them in some form.
