Served as H.O.D., English at MKJK PG College, Rohtak, for 7 years and 8 months, teaching PG classes from 2010 to 2018.
Currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Sh.L.N. Hindu College, Rohtak, since 2018.
Published more than 30 papers in reputed national and international journals, along with 3 chapters in notable books.
Received an Appreciation Award and Certificate from MKJK (PG) College, Rohtak, for outstanding work during the NAAC Inspection.
Awarded an Appreciation Certificate from Civil Hospital, Panchkula (DTO, Panchkula), for exemplary work in the Red Ribbon Club (RRC) as Convener.
Acted as an examiner for paper checking and paper setting for various universities across different courses.

Dr. Harshita Chhikara is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Sh. L.N. Hindu College, Rohtak. Her research interests converge around the themes of emancipation, empowerment, resistance, and feminism, with a particular focus on exploring the intersections of social justice, identity, and culture. As a scholar and educator, Dr. Chhikara is committed to promoting critical thinking, inclusivity, and social change. Her work is informed by a passion for amplifying marginalized voices and challenging dominant narratives.
