About The Author
Vineeta Sehgal has done her Master’s in English Literature and Bachelor’s of Education from Meerut University. She taught English Literature and Social Studies for 10 years.
She started her literary journey in 2004 with a small write up in National News Paper – ‘The Hindustan Times’ published from Delhi. She continued her journey with Times Group – ‘Vijay Times’ published from Bangalore. She was associated with two reputed magazines Woman’s Era and Alive from Delhi Press. She had the chance to meet and interview the eminent Author Ruskin Bond. She had a chance to work at a prominent position in ‘Lage Raho Bangalore’ a periodical published at Bangalore, where she had the opportunity to interview the prominent people in Bangalore, who excelled in their own fields. Her Hindi poems and short stories were published in the home magazine published at Oriental Bank of Commerce. At present she is writing short stories for The Children’s Magazine being published at Kochi in Kerala.
Two of her books ‘1857 Augharnath Temple Meerut India’s First Freedom Fight’ and ‘Stories of Bal Ganesh and Bal Hanuman’, a set of 18 Mythological Stories have already been published and widely appreciated.
