About The Author

Jitumani Pathak was born in Khetri, Kamrup ( Metropolitan ) district. He holds a Doctorate (P,S,D) degree from Gauhati University in Anthropology and is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Dudhanai College. Pathak, who showed a passion for literature since his school days, made his debut as a writer with the Daily Assamese newspaper. He has published more than 100 stories, articles and children’s literature. Tejimala’s Narrative and Other Stories is his first collection of short stories.
