About The Author

Meenal Dighe is in Indian author based in Mumbai. She has studied Chemical Engineering, HR Management and Psychological Counselling from prestigious Institutes in India. Meenal published her first mystery novel for kids, Disruptions in Dahanu – A Seaside Mystery from India, in November 2023. The Dahanu Detectives Series continues with the 2nd book called called Guilty in Gwalior – A Heritage Mystery from India, published in October 2024 and the 3rd book Ruckus in Rishikesh – The Mystery of The Temple Thefts, Published in November 2025. Meenal has special interest in birds and wildlife as well as the history and archaeology of India. She describes wildlife sanctuaries, libraries and museums as her favourite places on earth. She describes Salim Ali’s ‘Book of Indian Birds’ as her prized possession since childhood. After a successful career in corporate India, Meenal now spends her time helping municipal schools in villages of tribal areas, and travelling around India and the world, “finding stories everywhere”.
