Kaalpetty is a collection of 29 Malayalam and 7 English poems written through the post-Covid period.
Sara went back to her first love, the Malayalam language after shelving it for over 5 decades. Her collection of English poems, “Endless Tracks” was published in 2021.
Her poems bridge a lifespan of eight decades. Experiences of agony and ecstasy, war and peace, many stages of life and the landscapes of varying moods and colours across the Indian subcontinent and East Africa form the basis of her work.
