About The Author

Dr. Utkarsh Sinha is a seasoned Indian journalist, columnist, and documentary filmmaker based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh & a native of Ballia district. He was born in Varanasi and pursued higher education at Gorakhpur University and Ph.D from Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. He has served as the editor of four Hindi newspapers and is a well-recognized face on television. His articles have been published in international newspapers, with over 800 pieces featured in prominent national and international publications. With over 25 years of experience in the media industry, he has worked across diverse platforms, including print journalism, television, radio, and digital media. He contributed to research and participated in Aamir Khan Productions’ series Satyamev Jayate.
Currently residing in Lucknow, Dr. Utkarsh Sinha, a wanderer by temperament, has travelled to 21 countries, showing a keen interest in understanding local societies and environments during his journeys.
