About The Author 

Major Virat Misra, Ex-IRTS

Major Virat Misra has served as an Infantry officer in the Indian Army (securing All India Rank-01 in the CDS exam) and served at the Pakistan, Nepal and China Borders. He has also been part of the coveted Indian Civil Services (UPSC 2017 batch, securing All India Rank- 477; IRTS Officer). An alumnus of IIM Lucknow, he is currently serving as a guide and mentor to defence startups at IIT Kanpur. A doctoral candidate at Delhi University, he is a regular on state and national Televison channels as a defence analyst. On the social service front, he leads ‘Rashtra Samanvay Manch’ as its founder president.
