About The Author

Ms. Anamika Roy is an Emergency and Critical Care professional and academician with expertise in both prehospital and hospital-based emergency care. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Assam down town University, Guwahati, where she is actively involved in teaching, clinical skills training, and mentoring students in emergency and critical care sciences. She holds an MSc in Emergency and Critical Care and a BSc in Trauma, Emergency, and Disaster Management. Her clinical experience includes training at Santir Bazar District Hospital, South Tripura, and Down Town Hospital, Guwahati, across emergency and intensive care units. An AHA-certified BLS and ACLS provider, she has completed multiple international certifications. Her academic and clinical experience contributes meaningfully to Emergency Airway Management: A Guide for EMTs and Paramedics, supporting skill-based, evidence-driven emergency care practice.

Dr. Susmita Saha is an accomplished academician, healthcare educator, and administrator with extensive experience in emergency and allied health sciences. She currently serves as Associate Dean (Academic) and Assistant Professor at Assam down town University, Guwahati, India.
