About the Book

In the book ‘Adhunik Krishi Vigyan’, every chapter related to agriculture (with questionnaire) has been comprehensively presented to the readers. Keeping in mind the needs of the students, the presented book has been written with objective questions chapter-wise. Agriculture is a general knowledge with which most of the people are connected in some way or the other. This book is very useful for farmers. Students who are not graduates in agriculture science can also succeed in various competitive examinations by taking agriculture science as a subject. The book has been written keeping in mind the chapters taught at the graduate level. The book is in very simple language and the components of modern agriculture have also been included. Various agricultural activities used in the production of crops have been mentioned in detail. It is very important to look at agriculture from a commercial point of view. The basic thing to be noted is that the costs involved in agriculture such as seeds, fertilizers, irrigation, use of pesticides, etc. should be reduced significantly so that maximum profit can be earned. It is very important to connect farmers to the market and directly to the consumers through electronic medium. About the Author

Author S.K. Sinha, after obtaining a Bachelor of Agriculture degree from Bihar Agricultural College, Sabour, was working as an Agriculture Area Officer in Allahabad Bank. He has again worked on several posts in Bihar Finance Service. Currently, he is working as a Member, Internal Quality Assurance Call in Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur.
