About The Author
Mr. Rohit Kashinath Pithale is an Indian academic specializing in economics and social development. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in 2015 and his Master of Arts in Economics in 2017. In 2018, he qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET), a significant credential for lectureship in Indian universities.
Mr. Pithale began his teaching career as an Assistant Professor at SNDT Women’s University in Mumbai in, 2020.
He later transitioned to Kishinchand Chellaram (KC) College, also in Mumbai, where he continues to serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics.
In his academic career, Mr. Pithale has contributed to various research studies focusing on socio-economic issues in India. Notably, he authored a paper titled “”Bridging the Wage Gap: The Role of Minimum Wages in Reducing Income Inequality in India,”” published in the International Journal for Multidisciplinary Research in February 2025. This study examines the effectiveness of minimum wage policies in addressing income disparities within the country.
Additionally, Mr. Pithale conducted a critical evaluation of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) in Maharashtra. His research, published in February 2025, assesses the program’s achievements and shortcomings, providing insights into child nutrition, healthcare services, and immunization coverage.
Beyond his research, Mr. Pithale has been actively involved in academic events and workshops. He has delivered lectures on topics such as professional ethics and codes of conduct, emphasizing their importance in organizational settings.
