Just as every living being in the world lives with its own emotions, it can be said that man also lives a little more emotionally and uniquely, not apart from emotions. So here, since I am also a human being, as I said in my first published work of poetry called ‘Jeevanpreeti’, I too have a mind ‘…..there are feelings, there are worries, there are thoughts, there are plans, there are thoughts, there are churnings….’; I too have a ‘mind of a soul, there is the life of a god, there is the color of emotions like a rainbow, there is the movement of a cloud, there is the fragrance of a bud, the pain of thorns with balsam, there is the desire to join the life’, so ‘Stone heart, I am not..!’; I am a bird flying in the moonlight of emotions; I can only say here.! Therefore, this feeling within me may or may not be yours. But my hope with this work, “Chaitrachandra,” is that this passion within me may spread to everyone, everywhere.

Mr. Basavaraj U. Nadagaddi is a passionate writer and dedicated professional, currently serving as a Conductor from 15 years at BMTC Depot-15, Koramangala, Bengaluru. Despite the demands of his occupation, he continues to nurture his love for literature, finding creative expression through stories, poetry, and drama. His writings reflect not only his imaginative flair but also his deep connection with everyday life and the people around him.

Hailing from Shahabandar, Islampur, in Hekkeri Taluk of Belagavi District, Basavaraj carries with him the rich cultural and social values of his native land. Alongside his literary pursuits, he is actively involved in social and educational service, contributing selflessly to the upliftment of his community. His work highlights his belief in service, creativity, and the power of words to inspire change.
