About the Book
This book offers a comprehensive investigation of the history of India’s economic development, focusing on the historical context, the realities of the present, and the prospects for the future. When viewed in the context of structural difficulties such as income inequality, unemployment, and regional differences, India’s gross domestic product growth, which is frequently hailed as a success story, is subjected to a critical analysis. The mechanisms that have fueled India’s prosperity, such as liberalization, globalization, and technological adoption, are discussed in this book. Additionally, the book examines the sustainability of this progress in the context of changing global dynamics.
