About The Author

Dr. Rajkumari George retired as the Head of the Department of Home Science, SGJ Quaderia College, Burhanpur, M.P. under the aegis of Devi Ahilya university, Indore. She holds an M.Sc. degree from Kerala University and Ph.D. degree in Home Science from Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Saugar. Her academic qualification includes M.A. in Political Science and M.Ed. Besides teaching she was actively involved in multiple activities of the college as the professor-in-charge of Students` Union, NAAC Coordinator, Proctorial committee, Cultural association, Chief editor of College magazine, Newsletter.
She was a member of Central Board of Studies, Chairman of the University Board of Studies, Examiner for various Universities and colleges. She organized many UGC sponsored National and State level seminars on Mal Nutrition, HIV/AIDS awareness, Juvenile Delinquency, Diabetes Mellitus and so on. She has rendered her scholarship and services as resource person in many symposia and orientation programmes under various outreach schemes.
She has published many articles and has co-authored a popular book on ideal parenting entitled “Love Your Children”.
