I, Aashka Choksi, am an artist by profession, but a true artist at heart. My connection with art goes back a long way. Whether it’s painting, writing, photography, or music, each art form has been an integral part of my life. The primary source of this love for art was my father, himself an accomplished artist. Since childhood, I have been steeped in devotion to Krishna, and my father’s beautiful paintings of Krishna constantly inspired me. Those paintings adorning the walls of our home captivated me, deepening my connection with art. I also had a great love for reading, and my curiosity for knowledge was equally strong. I repeatedly tried to understand the mysteries and stories hidden in Krishna paintings. Sometimes, I would become so engrossed in them that I felt as if I had been transported to that era. It can be said that God has blessed me with a rich imagination, and this power led me to writing.
