Tryambak Rao Satkar, popularly known by his pen name “Ambar,” was born on August 19, 1955. He is the son of the late Gunwant Rao Satkar, who served as an Education Officer, and the late Kamla Satkar, who was an Assistant Teacher. A highly educated individual, Tryambak Rao holds multiple degrees including M.Sc. in Chemistry, M.A. in Economics, L.L.B., and certifications in Sanskrit (Prathama and Prambhni). He served with distinction as a Senior Manager in the Finance Department at Bhilai Steel Plant, Bhilai (Chhattisgarh), and retired in August 2015. Post-retirement, he has dedicated his time to literature, exploring various genres. Till date, he has published 12 books encompassing poetry collections, song collections, novels, short stories, and thought compilations like Mere 251 Vichar.
