Description
About The Book
“Lalsa (Craving) se Chetna (Consciousness) Tak”
Nasha, Man aur Jagrukta ki Upchar-Yatra;
it’s the name for the unfulfilled call of the mind
that’s suppressed before it can be heard.
Most people consider addiction a disease, a weakness, or a moral decline.
But experiences in psychology and rehabilitation show that
addiction is often a failed attempt to escape pain—
the pain of loneliness,
of rejection,
or an emptiness that finds no words.
When the mind is unaware,
it wanders in search of pleasure.
And that wandering gradually becomes craving—
a craving that provides momentary relief,
but deepens the inner pain.
This book doesn’t view addiction as a punishment or a shame.
It views addiction as the language of the unconscious mind.
Here, treatment doesn’t just mean quitting addiction,
but developing a consciousness where one can learn to observe their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors—
without running away or suppressing them.
“Lalsa (Craving) se Chetna (Consciousness) Tak”
is a journey—
from blindness to awareness,
from escape to stasis,
and from dependence to inner freedom.
This book contains psychology,
mindfulness,
real experiences of rehabilitation,
and most importantly—
human compassion.
If you yourself are struggling with addiction,
or see someone struggling,
or work in the field of mental health—
this book will teach you to observe before responding.
Because
when awareness grows,
craving itself begins to subside.
