ABOUT THE BOOK

This story portrays the life style of a middle class Indian women. It portrays about the culture, behaviour, their practices, respect to elders as children; respect to husband as wife, respect to in-laws as daughter-in-law. It portrays how they perform their duties in life. This story shows that how a middle class Indian female controls all her desires and lead a mechanical life just to respect their culture and maintain so called self respect. It shows how they burry all their desires deep in the heart and put a dramatical smile on their face and hide everything and die away without exposing any of their desires.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Mrs.B.S Sumathi Bai is a teacher by profession. Born and brought up in a Maratha middle class family at KGF, Kolar district. At present working as a teacher. Surviving with a very lovable husband and mother of a daughter and a son. Very keen in bringing changes in existing society through writings. Always think that it is the duty of every citizen to work towards the upliftment of women and lower middle class family. Hence this experiment through writings.
