Description

About The Book

The EC3 (Easy3) Way is much more than a single action or decision; it’s an ongoing process that guides us through every stage of our lives. This book aims to shed light on what it truly takes to develop “Human Centric Skills”—the sort of abilities that are increasingly vital as we transition from education to employment, especially for young professionals facing uncertainty at major crossroads. My goal is to share insights gathered from countless conversations with youth, helping them cultivate the mindsets and habits necessary to thrive.
Before embarking on this journey, it’s important to know what to bring along:
• What internal resources help us master these essential skills?
• Why do we need to let go of self-limiting beliefs and habits?
• How can we embrace and learn from our own shortcomings?
The EC3 Way provides the foundational tools, and throughout the book, you’ll discover not just what these tools are, but how to use them effectively.
Part I presents true stories highlighting the struggles and victories of young people, especially in today’s rapidly evolving workplace, where AI is changing traditional roles. These stories illustrate why EC3 tools are more relevant than ever.
Part II delves into how to use these tools, ensuring readers don’t just know about them but are empowered to apply them in daily life.
Part III addresses the barriers that prevent us from applying these simple yet powerful strategies.
When used together, EC3 tools foster a wide range of in-demand human-centric skills, helping you excel beyond technical expertise and adapt to the future.

About The Author

Group Captain Ranjit Isaac is an Indian Air Force veteran whose life epitomises grit and devotion to duty. His journey is marked by extraordinary survival and leadership through some of the most challenging circumstances faced by military personnel. During his service, he braved an ambush in Sri Lanka while part of the Indian Peace Keeping Force and came close to disaster in Antarctica when the ice sheet beneath him cracked. In the air, Isaac survived an aircraft malfunction and was in a forced helicopter landing in Africa, events that tested his courage and resilience. Tragically, not all his colleagues were as fortunate—a reality that left deep emotional scars.
After choosing early retirement, Ranjit seamlessly transitioned to civilian roles. He served as Project Manager for a global helicopter manufacturer, led aerospace business development for a major Indian conglomerate, and instructed pilots for a global express logistics provider. Academically, he holds a mechanical engineering degree from NIT Calicut and specialised in aeronautical engineering at Air Force Technical College. His exemplary service has earned him honours from the Chief of the Indian Air Force and commendation from the UN Peacekeeping Force Commander in DR Congo.
Ranjit’s true passion emerged in training and mentoring young recruits while being the CO of an IAF Training Establishment; he helped shape nearly a thousand trainees annually, instilling confidence and facilitating them to deliver “”Performance Beyond Expectation.””
Believing in the power of guidance, he remains dedicated to nurturing the next generation, giving back by empowering young professionals to realise their full potential.
