Managing these disorders effectively requires both accurate diagnosis and a treatment approach that addresses the root cause as well as recurrence.
Drawing inspiration from Sushruta Samhita, the classical foundation of surgery in Ayurveda, this book presents a comprehensive understanding of ano-rectal diseases. It highlights the Ayurvedic concepts of etiology, pathogenesis, classification, and management, including highly respected para-surgical procedures such as Kshara Karma and Kshara Sutra. Dr. Anjali Goyal is a distinguished academician and Ayurvedic scholar currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Ayurveda Samhita & Siddhant at ODM Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Raya, Mathura. With over 12 years of teaching and research experience, she has established herself as a dedicated educator and contributor to classical Ayurvedic knowledge. She completed her BAMS and MD from National Institute of Ayurveda, and further pursued her Ph.D. from All India Institute of Ayurveda, reflecting her strong academic foundation and commitment to higher learning.
Dr. Devesh Kumar Tiwari is a distinguished academician and practitioner in the field of Ayurveda. He holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and has completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Rachana Sharir (Ayurvedic Anatomy), reflecting his strong foundation in both classical Ayurvedic principles and modern anatomical sciences. Dr. Tiwari is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Dr. SKS Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, where he is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to academic development in Ayurveda.
