The present textbook of ‘Pharmaceutical chemistry’ has been written with a view to cover revised syllabus framed by the Pharmacy Council of India as per Education Regulations 2020. The new syllabus has been drawn considering the eligibility criteria and academic standards for the students to be admitted to Diploma Courses in Pharmacy. The book has been divided into respective chapters with a view to match the P.C.I. Syllabus. The Book contains important test for purity, assays, preparation and chemical properties of certain compounds. The syllabus also consists of chemistry of drugs and their therapeutic usage. structures are also given whenever required and as indicated in syllabus.
