About The Author

Dr. Akhilesh Chandra Verma, M.Sc., Ph.D., is a distinguished chemist, researcher, and educator who has made a significant impact in the field of chemical sciences. His academic journey reflects a lifelong commitment to excellence, scientific exploration, and the advancement of knowledge.
Born on August 21, 1963, Dr. Verma pursued his Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry and subsequently earned his Doctorate (Ph.D.), establishing a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied chemistry. His research interests span various important areas of chemical science, contributing meaningfully to academic scholarship and practical applications.
Dr. Verma has been serving in government service since July 19, 1994, dedicating nearly three decades to teaching, mentoring, and research. Over the course of his career, he has guided numerous students, supervised research projects, and actively promoted the growth of chemical knowledge. His remarkable contributions were recognized early in his career when he received the prestigious Young Scientist Award from the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) in 1992, honoring his innovative research and academic achievements.
Beyond his teaching and mentoring roles, Dr. Verma has successfully completed two Minor Research Projects sponsored by UGC CRO Bhopal, further strengthening his credentials as a committed and impactful researcher. His work has focused on deepening the understanding of chemical properties, reactions, and their real-world applications.
An inspiring academician and devoted scientist, Dr. Verma continues to influence and motivate students, researchers, and fellow academicians.
