About The Book

Cosmic Delirium is an omnibus collection of poems by D’Mello Kodialso coming together as a three-act descent into the raw, rhythmic, humorous and absurd reality of the modern loner. The poems deliberately selected and strung together in the collection emerge from smouldering embers of loneliness spread over a decade. The poet found melancholic solitude joining college and has grown to like its company as an auto rickshaw driver.
This debut collection of poems is the companionship of a trilogy revealing a solitary individual’s perspective, evolving into a cynic and ultimately taking a panoramic view of the Cosmos. Essentially, it’s about a loner’s journey of realizing that he and the Cosmos are both being lonely. Yet there is a bridge of observations to be made which lends both of them a connection and therein company.

About The Author

D’Mello Kodialso is an electric auto rickshaw driver from Mangalore unable to escape rhymes and writing. He is a proud owner of an SSLC certificate having successfully dropped out of the same college and degree course twice. Nonetheless he still has a degree but from a different college (correspondence). Having written many poems and chucked them off onto the attic or some other place, he has finally decided to select some of those poems which he considers worthwhile and compile them into a book or some books. He completely blames his friend and colleague Tanvir Ayaz (Husna) for pestering him into sharing the poems with the world. If you like the poems, then it’s solely D’Mello’s effort, if you don’t blame Tanvir.
