It gives our great pleasure to introduce the book Cost Accounting to our faculty friends and students. All of the chapters in this book are written in extremely simple language with the intention of making the subject more understandable. We hope that this book will certainly help in meeting the growing needs of students of cost accounting in the Faculty of Commerce. This book adopts a modern approach to the study of cost accounting. This book logically and completely covers a number of things, including cost ascertainment, analysis and control. This book not only satisfies the needs of undergraduate students at various universities but also serves as a resource for those pursuing careers in accounting, CA, CS and CMA, hence this book establishes a new standard for cost accounting textbooks.

Prof. N. B. Devkate has 5 year of teaching experience in Commerce. The author has made a valuable contribution as the director of Devkate Commerce Academy before Corona. He has published many research papers in National and International Journals. He has delivered a lecture on Income from Business and Profession as a Resource person at Swami Ramanand teerth Mahavidyalaya Ambajogai.

Dr. B. K. Vaishnav was born with a silver spoon of knowledge. The author has special interest in Research work since childhood. He has 10 years of teaching & administrative experience of UG and PG classes of Management and Commerce. He has published more than 30 research papers at National and International level. He has won many research awards. He is serving many examination services in universities in Rajasthan. He has also appointed as editorial board member of BHU.
