About the Author

Dr. Bharat D. Karhad is an accomplished academic and educational leader, currently serving as the Principal of Varadkar Belose College, Dapoli. With extensive expertise in finance and accounting, he holds a Ph.D. in Commerce, an M.Com, an MBA, and is a Chartered Accountant (CA).
Dr. Rajesh P. Kuchekar is the Head of the Marketing Department at Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC), Pune, with 29 years of experience in education. He has significantly contributed to commerce and banking through four published books and 21 research papers in esteemed journals.

Dr. Kuchekar earned his Ph.D. from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2017, where he also completed his M.Com. and B.Com. degrees. He has actively participated in the NSS for six years and the NCC for 17 years. Currently serving as the Student Welfare Officer at BMCC, he leads programs focused on personality development and entrepreneurship.

His initiatives include organizing blood donation camps, tree plantations, and directing an ICSSR-funded project worth ₹19,00,000, reflecting his commitment to education and student development.
Over his distinguished career, Dr. Karhad has held several key positions, including Finance and Accounts Officer, Vice Principal, Professor, Head of Department, Lecturer, and Coordinator for various academic programs. He has also been an active member of committees such as the Budget Committee, Purchase Committee, NEP Committee, Account Code Revision Committee, Management Council, and Senate. Additionally, he has contributed as an NSS Program Officer and is affiliated with professional bodies like ICAI and WMTPA.

Dr. Karhad is a prolific author, with over 15 books and 23 research papers to his credit, making significant contributions to the fields of management and accounting. His dedication to education and social change is evident through his efforts to elevate educational standards and engage with the community. A leader and mentor, Dr. Karhad continues to inspire students and colleagues alike through his passion for teaching and commitment to progress.
