About The Author 

Brijnandan Prasad “Viyogi” is a prominent figure in contemporary Hindi literature, who has profoundly expressed society, family, and human emotions through his writing. He is particularly known for his realistic perspective and poignant style. His major works include the novels Dan Dahej, Sharabi, and Putravadhu, as well as the plays Izzat, Roti aur Beti, and Balidan, and the story collections Vijeta and Mashal.
He is currently also active as a district in-charge at the Indian National Journalists Federation (Kolkata). His sensitive approach to social issues and human values is reflected in all of his works.
